Terms and conditions for the Meet & Greet option at the airport
Meet and Greet and assistance service at the airport The Meet & Greet option includes welcoming and assisting nine (9) customers maximum by an Air France agent on arrival, at departure, or during a connection at the airports where the service is offered:
- At departure: The Customer is welcomed at a meeting point which has been communicated by phone and confirmed by email. The Customer is then accompanied to the boarding gate of their flight, receiving fast-track assistance through security checkpoints.
- Upon arrival: The Customer is welcomed at the arrival gate and receives fast-track assistance through the airport (security and/or immigration, baggage claim).
- Connecting flights Customers with connecting flights are accompanied to the boarding gate of their next flight.
The Customer is informed that the Meet & Greet service cannot be provided to the following passengers:
- Passengers with reduced mobility
- Pregnant women
- Children and infants under 4 years old (accompanied or not by an adult)
- Children between 4 and 11 years old traveling alone (eligible for the Kids Solo service)
- Minors between 12 and 17 years old traveling alone (eligible for the Kids Solo service )
- Passengers traveling with a pet in the cabin
Meet and Greet and assistance services for groups Specific services for groups (minimum ten (10) passengers) are available upon request depending on the number of passengers and the availability of services:
- Check-in counters can be personalized for the group
- Fast-track assistance by one or several Air France agents for the entire group or only for the group's leader
- Access to the Air France lounge for the entire group or the group's leader
3.1 The purchase of the Meet & Greet option is possible by filling out the dedicated form no later than 48 business hours before your arrival. A member of our staff will contact you to finalize your booking and payment. 3.2. The Meet & Greet option is subject to availability. Its booking, issuance, and payment are done simultaneously. The booking is confirmed after payment. A confirmation email with details about the services subscribed to and the Terms and Conditions is sent to the Customer. 3.3. When booking the Meet & Greet option, the Customer undertakes cumulatively to:
- Meet the conditions defined herein
- Have the capacity to contract and benefit from the services offered
- Provide Air France with accurate information
3.4. Meet & Greet booked by a Customer is personal, nominative, and non-transferable.
Meet & Greet services are subject to individual pricing according to the services selected and subscribed to. A final quotation will be offered to the Customer at the time of booking, depending on the services chosen and the number of passengers. Information on basic fares applicable to Meet & Greet services is available on the Websites ("Personalized welcome at the airport" page in the section "Before departure" on the information pages). The basic fares are shown in euros (including tax) or in Miles.
5.1 Payment for the Meet & Greet option can be made with payment methods accepted by Air France. The payment is completely secure thanks to data encryption technology conforming to the highest standards. 5.2. Customers with a Flying Blue card can pay for the Meet & Greet option with Miles after booking their ticket.
Air France undertakes to provide the Meet & Greet services purchased in accordance with these Conditions. However, the Customer is informed that Air France may be obliged to modify the services for operational reasons due to safety and/or security requirements. Air France will do its utmost to notify the Customer at the earliest opportunity and to find a solution to modify the Meet & Greet service in a manner that is satisfactory to the Customer. In the event where the Meet & Greet option cannot be provided for or modified, Air France cannot be held liable. The Customer who is unable to benefit from the booked Meet & Greet service will be refunded the Price paid according to the refund process defined in article 8 hereunder.
The Meet & Greet option is modifiable and transferable to another flight, subject to availability and the cumulative conditions specified below:
- The modification request is made at least two (2) hours and thirty (30) minutes before the start of the service (time at which the services are to be provided)
- The Price after modification is equal to the Price initially paid If the Price after modification is higher than the initial Price, the difference will be charged to the Customer. If the Price after modification is lower than the initial Price, Air France will keep the difference
- The Meet & Greet options are available at a new date or booking time
- The name of the Customer remains unchanged
8.1 The Customer having reserved one or several Meet & Greet options can only be refunded the Price if in accordance with the following conditions:
- Delay or cancelation of the concerned flight, in the case where Air France was unable to find a solution allowing the Customer to benefit from the Meet & Greet service
- One of the Meet & Greet bookings was not delivered
8.2 To request the refund of the Price, the Customer must complete the online form available in the "Contact us" section on the websites. 8.3. The Customer, having reserved one or several Meet & Greet options, will not be able to obtain the refund of the Price in all cases where non-delivery of service is a result of a motive attributable to the Customer or if the Customer did not comply with the Present Conditions.
9.1. For services at departure The Customer must show up at the meeting point at the time agreed upon and confirmed by email. The Air France agent will be at the meeting point ten (10) minutes before the agreed meeting time. If the Customer is late by more than five (5) minutes after the meeting time and that it is no longer possible to accompany them to the boarding gate, Air France reserves the right to adapt the service by accompanying the Customer to the Air France counter to help them pursue their journey on another flight in accordance with the ticket type and fare conditions. If a Customer is late by more than fifteen (15) minutes after the agreed meeting time, Air France will consider the Customer to be a "no-show" and the services will not be assured by Air France. 9.2. For services upon arrival The meeting place and time will be adjusted in accordance with operational requirements. The Customer will be informed as soon as possible.
10.1 For services at departure The group must show up at the meeting point at the time agreed upon in advance with the Customer and confirmed by email. If the group is late by up to fifteen (15) minutes after the agreed meeting time and it is no longer possible to accompany the Customers to the boarding gate for the flight, Air France reserves the right to adapt the service by accompanying the group to the Air France counter to help them re-book their trip on another flight, subject to the ticket type and fare conditions. 10.2. For services at arrival The place and time will be adjusted in accordance with operational requirements.
Air France shall not be liable and shall not be deemed to have failed in its obligations in the event of non-delivery of all or part of the services booked, if this failure is due to a case of force majeure as defined or interpreted by French law. In such a case, the Customer shall not be entitled to any indemnity, interest, or compensation for any direct or indirect loss suffered as a result of the failure to provide services.
We draw your attention to the fact that, in accordance with the provisions of article L121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer does not have a right of withdrawal when purchasing services, transportation, catering and/or leisure activities that must be provided on a specific date or time frame. For services other than those mentioned above, the Customer benefits, in accordance with the law, to a right of withdrawal of seven (7) days from the time of booking, except in the case where the purchase relates to services that must be provided within a period of less than seven (7) days of booking, in accordance with applicable law.
Air France reserves the right to make changes to the Meet & Greet options and these Conditions at any time. The Meet & Greet service is subject to the General Terms and Conditions of Sale in force at the time of purchase unless a change to these Terms and Conditions is required by law or governmental authority (in which case such change will also apply to all bookings already made).
